(ADAMS COUNTY) - A 16-year-old girl was killed when a semi crashed into a horse-drawn buggy early Sunday in Adams County.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. at State Road 124 and County Road 200 East.
Investigators say the semi and buggy were both headed west when the semi struck the buggy from behind.
Laura Schwartz, 16, of Decatur was killed in the crash.
The other occupant of the buggy, 16-year-old Joe Schwartz of Monroe, was injured and taken to a hospital.
The semi driver was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
