BRONSON, Mich. - The principal of Bronson Jr./Sr. High School announced she is retiring after just one year in the position.

On Monday night the Bronson Board of Education formally accepted the letter of resignation for the retirement of Bronson Jr./Sr. High School Principal Kristina Crabill.

In a post on social media Bronson Jr/Sr High School said, "Crabill joined the Bronson district last August after planning to retire from the Jonesville School District with the intent to retire permanently after this school year."

"Kris graciously agreed to step in last summer when we needed a new leader at the Jr/Sr High School. She’s established systems that lay a strong foundation for the future,” said Bronson Community Schools Superintendent Kate Wall.

Crabill will serve through the remainder of the school year and then enjoy retirement.

A search for the new principal will begin immediately.
