ANGOLA - A large water main break on N. Wayne St caused businesses to close and traffic to be detoured.

The water main break took place along the 1400 block of N. Wayne St. between Calvary Lane and Bickland Drive.

Traffic was closed in both directions, but later opened up to one lane in each direction.

City authorities noted the break was the result of poor infrastructure with the water main line.
