Sen. Braun Files For Governor And Rep. Banks Files For Senator

INDIANAPOLIS - U.S. Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) filed for the Indiana Governor race and U.S. Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind. District 3) filed for U.S. Senator.

Both Braun and Banks officially filed at the Indiana Secretory of State's office on Friday, January 2.

Banks is running for the U.S. Senate seat left open by Braun.

Clinical psychologist Valerie McCray filed with the Secretary of State’s office to run for the open U.S. Senate seat in the Democratic primary

Braun has been on an already active with his year-long gubernatorial campaign.

The current list of candidates aside from Braun running in the general election for Governor of Indiana on November 5, 2024 include Brad Chambers (R), Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch (R), Eric Doden (R), Curtis Hill (R), Jamie Reitenour (R), Donald Rainwater (L) and Christopher Stried (Independent).
