INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb released a statement with 24 other Republican governors from across the country to advocate their support to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s border policies.

They argued that states have a right to self-defense under the U.S. Constitution.

And the governors also said the Biden Administration has stopped protecting the states from unauthorized immigration.

“Texas has every legal justification to protect the sovereignty of our states and our nation," said the statement from the governors.

The Supreme Court voted 5-4 to allow Border Patrol agents to resume cutting for now razor wire that Texas installed along a stretch of the U.S. and Mexico border.
