John Pollack Announces Retirement As Branch County Sheriff

COLDWATER – Branch County Sheriff John Pollack has announced he will not seek another term.

During a recent Branch County Commissioners meeting, Pollack said he would retire at the end of his current term, which runs until December 31, 2024.

Pollack has spent 41 years in law enforcement, with the past 37 years as a member of the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.

He was first elected Sheriff in 2012, and feels that he and his staff have accomplished just about all they could in the last 12 years.
