FREMONT - Fremont Community Schools' school board plan to discuss new referendum information during their Monday, January 22 meeting.

The school boarding meeting is set to take place at 6 p.m. in the Fremont High School Auditorium located in the back of the high school of 701 W. Toledo St.

The school district invites all Fremont Community Schools' parents and guardians to the school board meeting.

"During this meeting the school board will discuss referendum information. Your participation and support is enthusiastically welcomed," said FCS in a Facebook post.

The decision to continue the referendum first passed in 2015 for Fremont Community Schools was voted down in May of 2023.

The major aspects of the May 2023 referendum was to avoid layoffs within the school district and retain staff.
