Ashley Man Arrested For Felony Battery And Criminal Confinement

ASHLEY - An Ashley man was arrested on felony battery and and criminal confinement charges.
On Wednesday, January 17 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers with the Ashley-Hudson Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Lincoln St. for reported domestic battery.
Once on scene officers developed probable cause to arrest James E. Gentry III, 36, of Ashley for Criminal Confinement with Bodily Injury, a Level 5 Felony, Domestic Battery in the Presence of Children Under 16, a Level 6 Felony, and Strangulation, a Level 6 Felony.
The Ashley-Hudson police department noted Gentry is presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty in court.
