A wind advisory is in effect for our entire forecast area through this evening.

The National Weather Service says south winds of 20 to 30 mph will gust up to 55 mph at times. A few gusts up to 60 mph may be possible.

Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Forecasters say rain will overspread the area from west to east through the day today, with dry conditions returning for Sunday and the first portion of the work week.

High temperatures today will max out in the upper 60s and low 70s, then linger in the 50s and 60s through the middle of next week.
