Periods of rain showers can be expected today, and will continue through early evening before tapering late evening.

The National Weather Service says additional rainfall amounts from early this morning through tonight could bring between one quarter and one half inch.

In addition, areas of dense fog will continue to develop this morning from northwest Indiana extending into far northeast Indiana, southern Lower Michigan, and far northwest Ohio.

Dry weather returns Tuesday and Wednesday with a warming trend.
