(ANGOLA) - Angola Main Street is now accepting vendor applications for its new Main Street Makers Market, a downtown event designed to showcase local makers, artists, bakers, growers and small businesses.
Organizers say the market was created to expand opportunities for local entrepreneurs while complementing the continued success of the Angola Farmers Market.
The market will feature handmade, homegrown, small-batch and locally created products from vendors throughout the community.
Angola Main Street is encouraging applications from individuals and businesses involved in crafting, baking, growing, designing, creating or curating unique products.
Organizers also announced that Tracie Tatro will serve as market manager for the new venture. Angola Main Street said Tatro brings a passion for community engagement, creativity and supporting local businesses.
Vendor applications are now available online and include information on market dates, requirements and participation details.
The Main Street Makers Market is expected to become a new addition to downtown Angola's growing lineup of community events focused on supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs.
