(ANGOLA) - Angola High School is hosting an Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy advanced regional training Tuesday.
The Metropolitan School District of Steuben County says school personnel, representatives from other school districts, and emergency services agencies from surrounding communities are expected to attend.
The training is focused on sharing best practices related to school safety.
District officials say residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles around Angola High School between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday as training activities take place throughout the day.
School officials thanked the community for its support as schools and emergency responders continue working to strengthen school safety efforts.
