(ANGOLA) - Trine University student and Indy 500 Festival Princess Olivia Parker will host a children's reading and activity event Saturday at the Carnegie Public Library.
Parker says the event is designed to introduce kids to the Indianapolis 500 and its traditions through stories and hands-on activities.
The program runs Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the library on South Wayne Street in Angola.
Activities will include racing-themed stories, coloring pages and 500 Festival crafts, with organizers encouraging children of all ages to attend.
Parker says the event is part of her role as a 500 Festival Princess ambassador, helping build excitement for the month of May and the Indianapolis 500.
