(COLUMBUS) - Newly released records are raising questions about travel and spending involving former Ohio State University President Ted Carter and podcaster Krisanthe Vlachos. The two are accused of having an extramarital relationship, during which Carter confessed to providing Vlachos with ""inappropriate access to Ohio State leadership."

Documents show Carter traveled out of state multiple times with Vlachos while conducting university business. In several cases, records indicate Vlachos helped coordinate Carter's schedule for official events.

The documents also show Carter mistakenly charged some personal expenses, including meals, to a university-issued card, but later reimbursed those costs.

Some trips, including appearances at veterans' events, were not listed on Carter's official calendar.

University officials say Ohio State did not pay for Vlachos' travel and are now reviewing whether policies related to public funding and reimbursements were properly followed.

The matter remains under review as interim leadership oversees university operations.
