(ANGOLA) -- Volunteers continue collecting supplies for communities hit by last week's deadly tornadoes in southwest Michigan.

Indiana Storm Chasers say after making another delivery run Monday to Union City and Three Rivers, several items remain in high demand for residents working to clean up storm damage.

According to the group, the most needed supplies include tarps, storage totes, batteries, flashlights, lanterns, tools, locks, cleaning supplies, heavy-duty gloves, contractor-grade garbage bags, N95 masks, and shelf-stable food.

Donations are currently being accepted in Angola at the Heritage Club and Gauntlet Hobbies. Volunteers say supplies will support ongoing recovery efforts and help prepare for any additional severe weather response in the region.

People who want to help can also purchase items locally at Walmart, Rural King, Menards, Meijer, or Tractor Supply in Angola, or at Home Depot in Auburn, where volunteers can pick up the supplies for delivery.

Indiana Storm Chasers say they will load another trailer of donations Wednesday for the next supply run to the affected communities.

The group is also asking for contractors and cleanup crews -- especially those with heavy equipment -- willing to donate their time to help stabilize damaged homes and remove debris.

Organizers say the response from the community has been overwhelming and thanked donors for their continued support of storm victims.
