(TIPTON) - Jurors in the Dale Warner murder trial traveled Wednesday to two properties central to the case, marking a major step beyond courtroom testimony.

WTOL TV reports the jury visited the Munger Road property -- the home and business of Dale and Dee Warner -- where prosecutors allege Dee Warner was killed in 2021. Jurors walked the farm, house and surrounding buildings, including a spray barn frequently referenced during testimony, to better understand the layout and distances involved.

The group also visited a second site on Paragon Road, about a mile away, where Dee Warner's remains were discovered in 2024 sealed inside a tank. That location is considered a key piece of physical evidence in the case.

Jurors, attorneys and the judge traveled together by bus, while strict court orders barred photography or video of the jury during the visits to preserve trial integrity.

The site inspection comes on the eighth day of trial proceedings and is intended to give jurors firsthand context of locations tied to the alleged crime. Media coverage of the visit was limited, though reporters are providing descriptive updates.

Dale Warner is accused of killing his wife after she disappeared from the couple's home in April 2021. The trial is ongoing.
