(ANGOLA) - A LaGrange man already in custody on child molesting allegations is now facing an additional Level 1 felony charge following a Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigation.
Authorities say an arrest warrant was issued February 23 for 37-year-old Zachary Ryan Wolf of LaGrange, charging him with one count of Level 1 felony child molesting.
Detectives allege Wolf engaged in sexual conduct with a female victim younger than 14 years old during an incident in 2022 at a residence in the 1000 block of South County Road 445 West in rural Pleasant Township.
The warrant was served at the Steuben County Jail shortly before 3 p.m., where Wolf was already being held on an unrelated child molesting allegation in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Wolf is being held without bond on the new charge pending an initial court appearance. The Auburn Police Department assisted the sheriff’s office in the investigation.
