(BRYAN) - A Bryan man has been indicted following a crash involving a horse-drawn buggy that seriously injured a woman and two children, according to reports from WTOL-TV and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Michael D. Quillen, 32, faces three felony counts of failure to stop after an accident, along with additional charges including driving under suspension or in violation of license restrictions, possession of cocaine, and tampering with evidence.

Investigators said the crash occurred on Nov. 12, about six miles northwest of Bryan, when Quillen allegedly rear-ended a buggy traveling on the roadway. A 27-year-old woman and two children were inside the buggy at the time.

All three victims were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.

According to investigators, Quillen fled the scene following the crash.

Quillen is scheduled to appear in Williams County Common Pleas Court in February. A specific court date was not listed in available records.
