Angola Chamber Names 2026 Leadership, Welcomes New Board Members

(ANGOLA) - The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2026 Board of Directors and executive leadership, bringing new faces into key roles guiding the organization in the year ahead.

Three members are joining the board this year. Daisy Ashley of Lakeland Internet and Lisa Biers of the Steuben County Community Foundation were appointed, while Joel Otis of Croxton & Roe Insurance Services was elected.

The Chamber also confirmed its 2026 executive officers, led by President Tim Newby of Farmers State Bank. Ashley McClanahan of Bill's Professional Towing & Repair will serve as vice president, Gabe Cerny of RE/MAX Results as treasurer, and John Swygart of Barton Lake RV Sales & Service as secretary.

Continuing board members represent a broad mix of local business, healthcare, education, and government leaders, including representatives from Cameron Health, Trine University, the City of Angola, KeyBank, and several regional employers.

The Chamber also recognized outgoing board members Chantell Manahan of MSD of Steuben County and Abbee Vetter of Eberhard Weimer & Glick, thanking them for their service and contributions to the organization's growth.

The Chamber's 15-member board oversees policy, operations, and long-term direction. Board members serve three-year terms on a staggered schedule and are unpaid volunteers. Newly elected directors officially begin their terms January 1, 2026.
