Two Steuben County Teens Were Among the Indiana State Fair Celebration Of Champions

INDIANAPOLIS - Two teens from Steuben County were among the top honors awarded during the closing ceremonies of the Indiana State Fair.

Before the 2021 State Fair officially concluded, Caylee Bachelor and Harlee Henney (HEN EE) we’re among an elite group recognized for their accomplishments of top-placing 4-H exhibitors at the Celebration of Champions event.

Bachelor is a senior at Prairie Heights Community Schools, and the daughter of Corey and Stacy Bachelor of Orland. She is a member of the Orland Creative Kids 4-H Club.

Henney is a Freshman at Angola, and the daughter of Mark and Melissa Henney. She is a member of Otsego Go Getters 4-H Club.

Held in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, the Indiana State Fair Foundation’s Celebration of Champions is an opportunity to award 4-H youth for their achievement, scholarship and hard work.

Nearly $150,000 was raised by the Indiana State Fair Foundation to provide monetary awards and other recognition to honor the accomplishments and work ethic of Hoosier youth.
