INDIANAPOLIS - A data collection has begun as part of a new statewide housing inventory platform. Once completed, a website will provide a comprehensive county-by-county breakdown of Indiana’s housing supply.
Gov. Eric Holcomb and Lt. Gov. Crouch’s 2021 Next Level Agenda identified housing as a key focus in their pillar to Maintain and build the state’s infrastructure. As a result, IHCDA was directed to create a comprehensive overview of Indiana’s housing supply.
To aid in this effort, IHCDA established a statewide Housing Working Group to assist with undertaking the development of the new website. The group issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) last yearand recently selected RH&A Advisors.
The housing inventory platform is expected to be released later this year.
