HILLSDALE, MI – Two people were injured Saturday night in a motorcycle crash which forced the shut down of Long Lake Road near Wigent Road for almost three hours in Hillsdale County, Michigan.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened just after 7:30 p.m. Investigators say Garett Mitchil Crawford, age 35 of Osseo, went out of control, left the road, struck a road sign and crashed.
Both Crawford and his passenger, Kaylynn Alicia Cousino, age 28 and also from Osseo, had their helmets on.
Crawford was airlifted to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Cousino was taken to Allegiance Hospital in Jackson.
The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Department on scene was the Reading Emergency Unit, fire departments from Montgomery and Camden, and Hillsdale Towing.
