Defiance County, OH - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash on County Road 13 in Defiance County.
Authorities say, Ethan Pontious, age 16 of Montpelier, Ohio, was northbound when he lost control and went off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle hits a mailbox and rolled several times.
Pontious was ejected from the vehicle. The front seat passenger, Landon Rodriguez, also of Montpelier, was also thrown from the wreckage.
Pontius and Rodriguez were flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
