Indiana COVID-19 Hospitalizations Decline

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana's hospitalizations from coronavirus
have continued their recent decline; however, the state's daily rate of COVID-19 deaths has gone up slightly to a new high.
The Indiana Department of Health's daily update on Monday added 34 news deaths related to COVID-19. The state's seven-day rolling average of COVID-19 deaths has reached 79 per day. At one point the average was in the low 40’s in mid-November.
Indiana’s hospitalizations have declined about 15% since peaking on November 30, but remain nearly four times higher than in September.
Some health networks, such as Parkview are able to provide at-home care to some patients who are battling COVID-19.
