NOTTAWA TOWNSHIP – One person was injured in a hit and run incident in Nottawa Township.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department says a 31 year old Centreville man was walking south on Shimmel Road near Timm Road at 5:50 AM Wednesday and was struck by a northbound pick up that was pulling a trailer. The vehicle never stopped.
The pick up is either white or silver in color.
The victim sustained non life threatening injuries. Assisting deputies at the scene were the Centreville Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
