Calendar Changes Noted For Trine 2020 Fall Semester
Tuesday, June 23, 2020

Trine University President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph. D. discussed a few calendar changes that students and faculty alike will be facing for the Fall 2020 Semester.

The semester itself will start on August 10th, which is a full two weeks earlier than previously announced.

Dr. Brooks says, "Over the next several weeks, we will be providing more information and additional detail. And we will continue to move forward with optimism and the belief that our students, and our entire community, will thrive, regardless of however we may be required to adapt to a changing landscape."

Trine is one of several universities across the country that are being forced to adjust and adapt their calendars due to recommendations from the CDC and government officials alike as the fight against COVID-19 continues.

"Health and safety will always remain at the heart of our decision-making and will guide each step we take. The Trine experience may be somewhat different this fall, but it will not be diminished. Every Trine employee — faculty or staff — is fully committed to this principle."
