Monday, May 18, 2020

A Flood Watch remains in effect for the duration of the day today as the heavy rains seen throughout the tri-state region on Friday and throughout the weekend are expected to linger to kick-off the work week.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and storms are expected to last through much of the day today until about 3 P.M. when the heavy rains are expected to taper off. However, the chance of showers will remain in the forecast through the day Tuesday as highs for the next few days shall be in the 60s.

Conditions are expected to dry out more by Wednesday as partly sunny skies return to the forecast, and expected to become prevalent with temperatures slowly beginning to climb just in time for the upcoming holiday weekend.
