The thunderstorms that moved through the tri-state area on Thursday will see a lingering chance of showers and storms early today with humid conditions expected before partly cloudy skies become prevalent this evening.

According to the National Weather Service, highs for today and Saturday will be in the low 70s and will see mostly conditions in place for Saturday.

However, the chance of rain returns to close out the weekend as showers are expected to return in force on Sunday with highs in the high 60s, with those showers expecting to last through most of Monday.
