West Unity, OH - West Unity officials unanimously approve to enter into an agreement with the Regional Income Tax Agency, to collect its local income taxes.

The RITA system typically collects around 3% of a municipality’s tax collection. In West Unity’s case, a RITA representative estimated it would cost the village somewhere around 33 thousand dollars per tax collection cycle.

The Village of Edgerton entered into an agreement with RITA in 2016.
