With the summer months right around the corner, the city of Angola as well as all around Steuben County include several popular destinations for those traveling to during the summer months. However, amid the on-going fight against coronavirus several area events are still in question particular in the area of celebrating the Fourth of July, Independence Holiday.

Angola Mayor, Richard Hickman highlighted that one of his top priorities is seeing where the area will stand come that time in regards to plans around the holiday.

Hickman announced that he has put together a task force of sorts in regards to plans and events surrounding the normal holiday festivities and that decisions in regards to those plans will be announced in the coming weeks.

Hickman also reiterated that he understands everyone around the area wanting to get back to business as normal, but knows that safety for those around the community is of utmost concern.
