Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio Taking Inmates Again
Monday, May 4, 2020

Stryker, OH - The Executive Board of the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on Friday unanimously agreed to reopen the facility to new inmates. The measure was made effective immediately.

Due to a sudden flare-up of staff and inmates who have tested positive for COVID-19, the regional jail on April 24 temporarily suspended accepting new inmates, with the exception for violent offenders who pose a safety risk to the public. The CCNO primarily serves the five county area, which includes Williams, Henry, Defiance, Fulton and Lucas counties.
