Fremont, IN - The Fremont Moose Lodge 2387 raised over $3,000 for a local charity over the weekend.

Volunteers from the Fremont Moose had a huge success by giving FREE chicken dinners, and in return donations were accepted. Organizers say the money will be donated to Fremont Community Schools to be used to continue to feed area kids with the Boomerang Backpack Food Program.

The Fremont Moose gave special thanks to Miller Poultry, Fremont Police & Fire Departments, Cindy Olmstead, Mike Dougherty and all of the volunteers that help make this event a success.
