The MSD Board of School Trustees gathered via Zoom to approve applications for several grants.

The MSD Board of School Trustees approved requests to apply for various federal and state grants. A grant to help disadvantaged children meet high standards. Preparing, training and recruiting high quality teachers and administrators. A grant for language instruction for limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students and A well-rounded educational opportunities, social & emotional supports and effective technology use and integration. The board also approved an emergency school closure wage payment resolution. The board accepted a retirement notification from Monte VanGessel from her Business Manager/Treasurer position with the school district.

The board hopes to gather again for a public meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 7:30pm from the McCutchan Administration Center pending any further extensions of the stay at home order.
