NORTHWEST OHIO - In an effort to honor the Class of 2020, many high schools in Northwest Ohio will be participating in “Shine the Light” Monday night (April 20). Area schools will be turning on their football stadium lights at 8:20 p.m. as a way to honor high school seniors.

As well, the community is invited to also show support from their homes by turning on porch lights. The whole idea is 20 for 20, meaning 20 minutes of shining lights for the class of 2020.

Organizers at area schools say the stadiums will be closed to the community and students during this recognition.
