Proposal For Permanent Daylight Savings Time Nationwide Comes Out of Ohio
Thursday, February 27, 2020

The Ohio Senate approved a resolution on Wednesday which would call on the United States Congress to put the country permanently on daylight saving time.

The resolution is one of several bills and resolutions approved recently by state legislatures calling on Congress to pass its “Sunshine Protection Act of 2019."

Those in favor of the act state the various biannual issues Americans face with time change, including health health issues, workplace injuries and car accidents as people struggle to adjust.

The resolution goes next to the Ohio House.
