Cold Temperatures Remain As Snow Moves Out Thursday Evening
Thursday, February 27, 2020

Mother Nature's impact will definitely be felt throughout the morning today as the significant snowfall from the last 36 hours has left area roadways snow and ice covered as well as forcing area schools to be put on delay once again.

According to the National Service, snow is expected to linger throughout much of the day with an additional inch of snow possible as high temperatures will only reach into the mid 20s.

The snow is expected to end late this afternoon and evening, ushering in partly cloudy skies for Friday.

With the roads being snow and ice covered, area authorities would like to remind motorists during times of limited visibility drivers should use their headlights and to be sure to allow plenty of time to get to your destination when traveling, and leave an ample amount of space between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Stay tuned as we will keep you updated on the latest school delays and cancellations throughout the morning.
