A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the tri-state region later today which will last through tomorrow morning.
According to the National Weather Service, conditions later in the day on Tuesday will be favorable to bring significant accumulating snowfall to the area in the amounts of 1 to 2 inches over night and anywhere from 4 to 8 inches through the morning and early afternoon on Wednesday.
The impending snow will also lead to colder temperatures, with highs for the rest of the work week only reaching into the low to mid 20 degree range. However, partly sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures are expected by the end of the weekend with highs getting back up into the mid 30s for Sunday.
Stay tuned as we will keep you updated with the latest travel conditions, school delays and closings as they shall arise.
