Following two days of above normal temperatures, Mother Nature is set to bring winter weather back to the tri-state area for the next several days.

According to the National Weather Service, periods of rain for the day today will turn into a slight snow later in the afternoon and evening, with higher chances and significant accumulation expected Wednesday evening.

Temperatures will remain in the low 30s and high 20s for through the remainder of the week, with two to four inches of snow expected Wednesday afternoon and evening, through Thursday morning.
