Partly cloudy skies, and warmer than average temperatures for this time of year will remain in tact for much of the day today across the tri-state area before the return of winter weather on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions today will be mostly dry along with periods of sunshine and highs in the upper 40's before conditions will make a change on Tuesday when chances of rain and snow return to the forecast and temperatures will drop back into the mid 30's. As temperatures will drop later in the day on Tuesday, a chance of snow returns and will remain through the night and into the day on Wednesday where snow chances will remain in some capacity for the rest of the week as highs will remain consistent in the low 30 degree range.
