A chance of snow and rain is in the forecast for much of the day today, while also stretching into the early part of Saturday before a major warm-up slated for Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions today around the tri-state region will see a chance of a rain and snow mix for much of the day, but chances will taper off this evening with highs in the upper 30s.

Much of that will remain the same for Saturday, but will become less and less likely throughout the day as conditions Sunday will see partly cloudy skies and highs reaching into the upper 40s. The warmer and dry conditions will remain in tact to start off next work week, before another chance of rain returns to the forecast on Tuesday with highs remaining in the 40s.
