LaGrange County had the lowest unemployment rate in the area during December as it went from 2.5% in November down to 2.2% December according to Indiana’s Department of Workforce Development.

Meanwhile Steuben County was next at 2.3%...down from 2.5%, followed by DeKalb County was at 2.5%...down from 2.8%.

Noble County was at 2.9%...down from 3% in November, and Northeast Indiana as a whole was below the state’s rate of 3.2% in December.
