A two vehicle crash occurred in DeKalb County on Monday Evening. Around 6:14 P.M. at the intersection of County Road 45 at County Road 68, Brock A. Smith age 29 of St. Joe, Indiana was traveling south on County Road 45. It was there that his 2013 Ford F-150 failed to stop at the stop sign at County Road 45 and County Road 68. A second vehicle, Paige Mosley age 24 of Garrett was traveling west on County road 68 in her 2016 Ford Taurus. It was then that Smith struck Mosley in the passenger side door.

Both vehicles came to rest in a field on the south side of County Road 68.
Mosley, along with her daughter were transported to the hospital by EMS due to their injuries.

Charges are pending for Smith, as the accident remains under investigation by local authorities.
