Superintendent McCormick Releases 2020 Legislative Priorities

State Superintendent Dr. Jennifer McCormick released her 2020 legislative priorities for the Indiana Department of Education on Thursday, as many teachers from around the state will descend on the "Circle City" early next week. The key points McCormick wants to address upon this upcoming session includes: Student Learning, School Improvement, and Operational Effectiveness.

Next Tuesday, November 19th, Dr. McCormick will welcome press outside her office to discuss her 2020 legislative priorities and its alignment to the historic 2019 Red4Ed Day of Action as educators from around the state gather in what they hope will raise awareness from state lawmakers in the various changes that need addressed in the world of education.
